I mentor student-directed productions at three different scales:
Beginning Directing, culminating in the LU 10-Minute Play Festival
Advanced Directing, culminating in a festival of longer-form student-directed work
Season Directing, in which selected students lead fully produced department productions
At each stage, students meet with me weekly to develop their artistic voice, strengthen their leadership, and reflect on their process. I observe production meetings, rehearsals, and technical rehearsals, offering actionable feedback that helps students deepen both their craft and their collaborative practice.
